The journeys of Socrates came to reassure and remind me of the training to live a good life. Too many fantastical, exaggerated I didn’t particularly enjoy this book. There are also countless ways to describe how special this book is, that I don’t know where to begin. Honestly, it was a little slow in parts. I am a part-time book selller for a small Waldenbooks in Vermont and this is my first contact with your work. There are no discussion topics on this book yet.

In a way, I wish Socrates had remained an enigma because the unveiling of how he came to be who he was when Dan Millman met him was anti-climatic. This is what I call a book! Recommended to me by a good friend who also enjoying the book thoroughly, it’s a historical story of latter Czarist Russia involving the Cossacks, the Jews, and the intense military procedures as it was in that time. This essential guide provides exciting new insights into one of the most important self-help books of recent years.

If you have ever come across some of Dan Milman’s books your mind will be blown away. You will find this saga quite different from Way of the Peaceful Warrior — I had no wish to clone my millmqn work.
