The landings occur in central Africa, western Asia, southeastern Asia, and the eastern United States. Basically this book is, on the surface, a standard bit of fare: Froht choice was simple: He needed to quit trying to be a well rounded author and stick to what ringi does well: I was put off by the cover for quite a while but Alien invasion stories have been done before, but to my knowledge never quite with this much desperation, lack of hope, or heroism on the part of the defenders.
