A spellbinding novel of murder, mystery, and the occult, Falling Angel pits a tough New York private eye against the most fearsome adversary a detective ever faced. Sometimes both in the njortsberg package. Louis Cyphre is a very cool and intriguing antagonist, I have not seen the Angel Heartthe movie adaptation of this book, but I can imagine Hjorrtsberg Niro is great in the role. There was plenty of gruesome horror, and a nice dose of hard-boiled violence, and the story kept me wanting to read much later than I should have been.

I’m a huge fan of noir crime fiction, and someone recommended this book as one I’d like in that genre.
