I point it out because if you buy GuitarPro now, they might come out with the new one right after. I also like how you have standard notation tied to the guitar tab. I started playing the guitar when I was 16 and played for a few years.
I used the demos for both, and chose Guitar Pro becuase it allowed me to enter the tabs more easily better interface. To start things off, I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do the following: Verify that you started on the First Bar and all the notes or almost all the notes are in the Mandolin notation. It works very well, even with the peculiar tuning used on ukes. Adam This looks like just the tableditt I have been looking for. Bill We each get used to using what we use and any other method then seems ‘awkward’.
The demo version only saves 16 measures of tab, so you will lose most of what you had already downloaded.
I have been using TablEdit for some time now congert the notation but I need the ability to print the Tablature as well as the notation. They also have a demo you can try. Over time I also utilized TablEdit to create jam tracks, after generating drum tabs and bass tabs I would convert everything to midi and then save as wave files and have jam tracks to give my students on cd to practice with.

I’ve noticed a couple of bugs that I consider pretty annoying, but because I don’t have the full version I haven’t done any printing. I hadn’t realized that GuitarPro had issues. Jeff I am learning how to read music and this will converh perfect for me to use in converting tabulature to music!
I don’t see any tablddit for Guitar Pro in the future and that makes tabpedit very sad. What any magazine dare say, your TablEdit is just splendid! I hope to have a life long relationship with the Tagledit program. And it’s very easy to work with, especially for guitar. Inoue Great piece of software! The program looks good. I have compared your product with a demo of another tablature editing software, and yours is far superior! Matt, If you tablediit Tabledit, you get access to their ‘registered users’ page.
Mark I’ve been waiting for a program like this for a long time. For some reason, acoustic musicians have tended to favor Tabledit. This application is the best tool I have ever seen for helping students of music. Press one key, and you are tabbing a drop ‘C’ tuned banjo. Nice one Tablaman, I’m off to try it.
